I'm back from the convention which was pretty neat! It was in a dangerous-large city in a large building and there were several other schools that competed which was awesome. When we first got there though I spazzed and went into my cry-baby moment and cried because I got upset I didn't grab my picture and the teacher drove off with it, but it was like down the street I didn't know that though and yadada friend crap. God I am a big baby! Anyway, so we checked in all our crap, went out to eat... took pictures. I love taking pictures xD At the end of the day we through a session and went to check the art stuff.

Our school did amazing! Anna (my friend, she's a junior) got first in cross-stitch and second in spelling. Ben (Anna's brother) got first in wood-working, my friend Katherine's FIRST time going got FIRST in sculpture which was awesome! I got third and I got a white ribbon, the picture that got first deserved that win, it was beautiful. The second place winner I think should have tied with me, but it had more detail and a girl's face, oh well, I still placed! Paula got second in Spanish, Britany got second in creative writing... I think that's all, it was pretty exciting.

So today we had to go see the awards, and I didn't get a trophy but they called out my name on the stage! anyway, Anna, Ben, Katherine, Brittany, and Paula did which was really cool, they got to walk across stage for the entire state of beta people. We also won an 'Art Sweeptakes' as First place and that's when they combine all the scores of the art stuff and one of our chaperons told me to go up there. I didn't understand so I got out of the seats and was like "What? What? What's that mean?!" and then I went down the steps and went on stage and shook hands and spoke for a moment with the ex-president of my beta club's state officer. Ahhh, it was so exciting! Sort of sounded like a dummy though, he was like "Are you from S.H.S?" and I grabbed his hand and nodded "Yessir!" I got the trophy thingie and ran off xD I took pictures of everyone's trophy with them... And I accidently left the art trophy I got in Katherine's bag... Oh well, it's not like I get to keep it

Also had a soccer game today, which we won! Woo! And I got to get up in a few hours to go to a camping course. GREAT STUFF. God, I'm so tired.
